Your Role at Veezu
As a Trading Manager, you will use data to determine the growth strategies of cities across the UK and play a key role in helping Veezu to grow the business and enhance its market position. Reporting into the VP Marketplace, your role will involve:
- Reviewing operational KPIs
- Evaluating competitive landscapes
- Highlighting opportunities
- Developing and executing innovative strategic plans
- Driving growth in Veezu cities

What You’ll Do

Deep data analysis: Conduct location performance reviews to understand city dynamics and identify growth opportunities and performance improvements.

Strategic planning & execution:
- Develop, coordinate, and implement trading strategies based on market insights.
- Collaborate across functions including:
- Brand & Performance Marketing
- Passenger & Driver Lifecycle
- Driver Partner Experience
- Data Science
- Legal

KPI & metrics monitoring:
- Track effectiveness of trading strategies and initiatives.
- Provide regular performance reports on trends, opportunities, and challenges.

Stakeholder insights:
- Deliver feedback to internal teams for improving passenger and driver partner service delivery.
- Present insights and recommendations to stakeholders as part of data-driven decision-making.

Tariff ownership & compliance:
- Maintain accuracy, timeliness, and system integrity of internal tariffs.
- Ensure up-to-date records of all tariff pricing structures.
- Act as a subject matter expert for technical tariff/pricing queries.

Data Science collaboration:
- Support the development, build, and testing of pricing strategies and system capabilities with the Data Science team.

- Maintain Veezu’s ISO27001 certification standards.
- Champion high Information Security compliance within the team.
What You’ll Need
- Highly organised, with meticulous attention to detail.
- Ability to manage tasks methodically, maintain accurate records, and ensure error-free completion.
- Strong problem-solving skills with proficiency in:
- Interpreting market data
- Identifying trends
- Making data-driven decisions
- Strategic thinker with a results-oriented mindset and passion for innovation and business growth.
Where You’ll Be
This hybrid role allows you to operate primarily from your home address, with occasional in-office attendance at Veezu’s Cardiff HQ and other sites monthly.
