Trading Manager
Trading Manager - Veezu
About the Role
As a Trading Manager at Veezu, you will leverage data to shape growth strategies across cities across the UK, playing a vital role in expanding the business and strengthening our market position. Reporting to the VP Marketplace, your responsibilities include reviewing operational KPIs, conducting competitive analyses, identifying opportunities, and developing high-impact strategic plans to accelerate growth within Veezu’s cities.

Key Responsibilities
- Conduct deep dives into locational performance, analysing city dynamics and identifying growth opportunities to enhance operational effectiveness.
- Develop, coordinate, and implement trading strategies based on market insights, collaborating with cross-functional teams including:
- Brand & Performance Marketing
- Passenger & Driver Lifecycle
- Driver Partner Experience
- Data Science
- Legal teams
- Monitor KPIs and key metrics to assess the success of trading strategies and initiatives, providing regular reports on trends, opportunities, and challenges.
- Offer feedback to internal departments to improve service delivery for both passengers and driver partners.
- Present data-driven insights and recommendations to stakeholders to inform strategic decision-making.
- Assume ownership of tariffs within Veezu’s systems, ensuring accuracy and prompt resolution of technical issues.
- Maintain detailed and up-to-date records of all tariffs and pricing structures.
- Act as the subject matter expert for technical queries related to tariffs, pricing configurations, and Veezu’s system capabilities.
- Support the Data Science team in developing, building, and testing pricing strategies and system functionalities.
- Uphold and champion ISO27001 certification standards, ensuring high Information Security compliance across the organisation.

Location & Work Arrangement
This position offers a hybrid role, with your primary base at your home address. You will also be expected to work from our Cardiff HQ or other locations as needed—for a minimum of one day per month.
