Trading Manager
Leeds | Full Time | Office-Based
At Moda in Pelle, we're passionate about creating stylish, high-quality footwear that our customers love. We're looking for a commercially driven and analytical Ecommerce Trading Manager to join our Head Office team in Leeds.
This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced ecommerce professional to drive the performance of our online business. Working closely with Ecommerce, Marketing, Buying, Merchandising, and Creative teams, you'll use data and commercial insight to optimise the customer journey, maximise online sales, and deliver an exceptional digital shopping experience.
What you'll be doing
- Driving sales, conversion, and profitability across our ecommerce channels.
- Analysing website performance, customer behaviour, and trading trends to identify opportunities for growth.
- Producing daily, weekly, and monthly trading reports with clear commercial recommendations.
- Monitoring key ecommerce KPIs including conversion, average order value, traffic, revenue, and margin.
- Managing the ecommerce trading calendar, ensuring product launches, campaigns, and promotions are executed effectively.
- Working closely with Buying, Merchandising, Marketing, and Creative teams to optimise product performance and customer experience.
- Identifying opportunities to improve onsite merchandising, navigation, and product visibility.
- Forecasting sales performance and making recommendations to maximise revenue.
- Using customer insight and market trends to inform trading decisions.
- Continuously reviewing website performance and implementing improvements to optimise the online customer journey.

What we're looking for
We're looking for someone who is:
- Experienced in Ecommerce Trading, Ecommerce, or Digital Merchandising.
- Commercially minded with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Confident interpreting data and turning insights into actions.
- Experienced using Google Analytics (GA4) and ecommerce reporting tools.
- Highly organised with excellent attention to detail.
- A collaborative communicator who enjoys working cross-functionally.
- Advanced in Microsoft Excel.
