Trading Manager – The Market Street Grocer

The Role

As a Trading Manager, you won’t be stuck behind a desk. You’ll be the commercial driving force right out on the shop floor, ensuring your departments look spectacular and our customers feel right at home.
Reporting into the Store Manager, you’ll take full ownership of:
- Trade execution
- Commercial performance
- Stock management
Your main objective? To ensure every aisle is beautifully presented, fully stocked, while coaching your team to deliver the friendly, helpful service that keeps our regulars coming back week after week.
Key Responsibilities
Daily Execution

About You
You thrive in a fast-paced, high-volume retail or commercial environment and have a robust understanding of how to run a profit-driven operation. This role demands:

- Experience managing teams, delegating responsibilities and bringing out the best in people.
- Ability to stand out during peak operations and set the energy for your team.

- Strong ability to read sales and trade reports
- Hands-on approach to stock rotation and waste reduction
