Trading Manager
Trading Manager – Growth Strategies
About the Role
As a Trading Manager at Veezu, you will leverage data to determine growth strategies for cities across the UK, playing a critical role in expanding the business and reinforcing our market position.
Reporting into the VP Marketplace, your responsibilities will include:
- Analyzing operational KPIs
- Assessing competitive landscapes
- Identifying opportunities and gaps
- Developing and implementing innovative strategic plans to grow Veezu cities

Key Responsibilities
Data-Driven Growth & Performance
- Conduct deep dives into locational performance to understand city dynamics and uncover growth opportunities.
- Improve city performance metrics by analyzing and acting on insights.
Strategic Planning & Execution
- Develop, coordinate, and implement trading strategies tailored to market insights.
- Collaborate across teams including Brand & Performance Marketing, Passenger & Driver Lifecycle, Driver Partner Experience, Data Science, and Legal.
- Drive business growth through data-driven decision-making.

Performance & Reporting
- Monitor KPIs and metrics to evaluate strategy effectiveness.
- Provide regular performance reports, highlighting trends, challenges, and opportunities.
- Share insights with internal departments to enhance service delivery for passengers and driver partners.
Stakeholder Engagement
- Present data-driven insights and recommendations to stakeholders for informed decision-making.
Tariff & Pricing Ownership
- Take full ownership of tariffs within Veezu’s internal systems:
- Ensure accuracy and timeliness
- Resolve issues promptly
- Maintain accurate, up-to-date records of all pricing structures
- Act as the subject matter expert for technical queries on tariff and pricing.
Technical & Process Improvement
- Support the Development, build, and testing of pricing strategies and system capabilities (with the Data Science Function).

Compliance & Security
- Maintain ISO27001 certification standards and uphold Information Security compliance.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Highly organized and diligent, with sharp attention to detail.
- Proficient at managing tasks methodically while ensuring accuracy, completeness, and error-free execution.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills—able to:
- Interpret market data
- Identify trends
- Make data-driven decisions
- Strategic thinker with a results-oriented mindset.
- Passionate about innovation and growth—driving business expansion.
Work Arrangement
This is a hybrid role, with your base at your home. However, you may be required to work from:
- Our Cardiff HQ (or other locations as needed)
- A minimum of 1 day per month
