About the Role

We’re recruiting for a high-performing Trading Manager to drive growth and success. This critical position ensures stores are fully stocked, delivering market-leading availability and maintaining safe, legal standards for our customers.

As the Trading Manager, reporting to the Store Manager, your duties will include:

  • Leading the team to operational excellence and exceeding expectations in customer service
  • Planning and executing stores-wide promotions and in-store events
  • Actively listening to and addressing customer feedback
  • Ensuring maximum stock availability across all departments
  • Collaborating with store managers to foster a performance-driven team culture
  • Overseeing department schedules, absences, performance, and talent development
  • Providing training and mentorship to build team capability
  • Motivating colleagues across departments to attain outstanding performance
  • Supporting talent identification and growth within the team
  • Forging strong partnerships with other operating departments
  • Implementing efficient resource planning to meet daily demands
  • Leading the store with a clear strategic vision
