Brook Green Supply is an independent B2B energy supplier committed to providing energy supply solutions to industrial and commercial consumers. By solely working with large energy consumers, we provide a high degree of specialism and focus to clients.
Working alongside an experienced Trading Desk, you will play a key role in maintaining the integrity and efficiency of our trading activities. You will be responsible for ensuring robust trading controls are in place, supporting trade lifecycle management, monitoring counterparty credit exposure, and delivering accurate operational processes across both power and gas markets.

Responsibilities
- Ensure the accurate and timely nomination of power and gas trades across relevant markets.
- Perform trade validation, reconciliation, and exception management to ensure the accuracy and completeness of trading activity.
- Maintain and manage client and wholesale trades within the company's ETRM systems.
- Monitor and manage wholesale counterparty credit exposure, collateral positions, and margining requirements.
- Produce and enhance reporting on trading activity, credit utilisation, collateral requirements, and operational performance.
- Support the ongoing development and improvement of trading controls, operational processes, and reporting capabilities.
- Liaise with industry bodies, exchanges, brokers, counterparties, and internal stakeholders to resolve operational issues and settlement queries.
- Investigate and resolve data, trade, and process exceptions in a timely manner.
- Support internal stakeholders by providing analysis and operational expertise across trading activities.
- Identify opportunities to improve processes, automate manual activities, and enhance operational efficiency.
- Assist with testing and implementation of new systems, products, and operational processes as the business continues to grow.

Required Skills & Experience:
Essential
- Strong Microsoft Excel skills.
- Experience working with large datasets and performing data analysis.
- Highly numerate with strong attention to detail.
- Excellent organisational and workload management skills.
Desirable
- 2–3 years' experience within the energy sector.
- Knowledge of UK electricity and/or gas markets.
- Experience with ETRM systems.
- Experience of trade operations, settlements, risk management, or energy trading support functions.
- Knowledge of SQL, Python
