Trading Operations Specialist

Our client, a leading Commodity Trading firm, is looking to hire a Trade Operations Specialist Analyst to join their team in London.

Your Responsibilities

  • Ensure all trades are accurately affirmed, investigating and resolving discrepancies while escalating issues where necessary.
  • Collaborate with traders and supporting teams to process trade amendments, ensuring all changes are properly reviewed and authorised.
  • Maintain and manage static and reference data within the ETRM system.

Required Experience

  • Previous experience within a Trade Control environment, preferably across Gas, Power, and Emissions markets, and/or within Middle Office or Back Office Operations in energy trading.
  • Knowledge of the full trade lifecycle, including trade capture, amendments, contract management, and settlements.
  • Strong team player with the ability to build effective working relationships across all levels of the organisation.
