Commercial Admin Officer (Purchases & Sales) – Saica Natur
About Saica Group
Saica Group provides sustainable paper solutions for manufacturing corrugated board and flexible packaging, driving circularity in waste management. With over 12,000 employees across 11 countries (including the UK), the group operates four core business lines:
- Saica Paper – Production of recycled paper for corrugated cardboard
- Saica Natur – Waste management and environmental services
- Saica Pack – Production of corrugated board packaging
- Saica Flex – Flexible packaging solutions
The Role
You will administer purchases and sales of commodities for Saica Natur depots and third parties, liaising with Saica Paper and external entities.
Key Responsibilities
Administrative & Operational Tasks
- Provide end-to-end customer service for new and existing accounts
- Maintain prudent supplier and customer data on PRISMA and PRIMSA systems
- Process sales and purchases accurately through newsletters, PRISMA, and other systems
- Coordinate collections and deliveries, ensuring payment documentation is correct
- Control paperwork compliance for all transactions
- Monitor load cancellations, postponements, and transport rates
- Process third-party invoices (WebCycle) for payments

Account & Relationship Management
- Set up supplier/customer accounts in PRISMA (note spelling corrected)
- Serve as the first point of contact for customer complaints and disputes
- Handle market claims and rejections, including light-weight and moisture disputes
- Maintain compliance with customs documentation and internal processes
Reporting & Special Tasks
- Assist with secret databases, e.g., PeRNs & TFS (Ireland)
- Update depot stock sheets and pricing in collaboration with deposit managers
- Arrange collections with suppliers and hauliers
- Resolve pricing discrepancies and communicate between stakeholders
Your Competencies
Recommended Qualifications & Experience
✅ GCSE Maths and English (desirable for numeracy/data accuracy) ✅ Customer Service experience – Managing stakeholder communication ✅ Intermediate–Advanced IT skills – Proficient in MS Excel (data entry), Word, PowerPoint ✅ Desirable (optional):
- Knowledge of waste management/recycling regulations
- Familiarity with customs processes and exports
- Understanding of pricelist management systems
