About the Role
The Head Butler provides bespoke, professional, and attentive butler service to distinguished guests, ensuring every aspect of their stay fully reflects their expectations. As the first point of contact and guest advocate, this role focuses on chick excellence, impeccable coordination, and discretion, working closely with Front Desk, Guest Services, and Engineering to deliver seamless VIP service.

Key Responsibilities
Guest Relations & Concierge Services
- Provide personalised luxury household, anticipating and addressing VIP guests’ every need.
- Deliver coffee, tea, and other refreshments upon request, ensuring premium service.
- Greet and welcome guests to the hotel, always exceeding expectations with genuine warmth.
- Check room keys and verify room details and services comply with guest requests.
VIP Account Management
- Create and update Notes of Arrival with guest preferences and special requirements.
- Coordinate with Front Desk to prepare VIP rooms, including making pre-arrival arrangements.
- Escort guests to their rooms, maintaining discretion, elegance, and timeliness.
- Anticipate and address guests’ evolving needs, including special requests or adjustments.
- Follow up with Pre-Arival emails ahead of guests’ arrival with confirmation and details.

Guest Services Coordination
- Liaise with Guest Services and Sales Teams to flag VIP guests entering the system.
- Monitor butler flags posted in the reservation system (e.g., dietary restrictions, smoking preferences).
- Weekly "budget box" completion, evaluating guest satisfaction and service efficiency.
- Maintain up-to-date preparations for new VIP arrivals, including event prep, room service, and wake-up arrangement.
Laundry & Miscellaneous Services
- Handle guest laundry requests, ensuring on-time pick-up, drop-off, and return to accommodate demanding schedules.
- Liaise with Housekeeping and Laundry teams to ensure prompt servicing.
General Hospitality Standards
- Uphold Company policies and quality assurance standards, ensuring upholstery and glassware is pristine.
- Recognise and actively support The Luxury Collection’s code of conduct and filming/photography policies.
- Maintain proactive daily communication with deferred VIP guests and Front Desk staff to coordinate check-in, billing, and valuables holding.
- Oversee management issues, report accidents, injuries, or unsafe conditions to Front Office Manager or Supervisor.
- Follow house systems and global integrations, e.g. furnishings supplier, client database, registration systems, and cross-domain portal.

Punctuality, attentiveness, and the ability to execute meticulous order and service sequences are non-negotiable.

Preferred Qualifications
Experience & Skills
- Experience in luxury/destination resorts or concierge-focused environments not mandatory, but beneficial.
- Confident in **மானித்திக்சு’**s ethos and value of added luxury: innovation, creative problem-solving, and personalised attentiveness to guest experiences.
Soft Skills
- Fluent in British English, beyond conversational proficiency.
- Strong communication skills, attention to detail, and a genuine desire to deliver memorable experiences.
- Ability to embrace British charm and navigate complex guest needs with style.
Professional Conduct
- Uniform: Lightning DESIGN, Polytreen pieces consistent with brand standards.
- Appearance/conduct: Maintains the luxury image; attractive, professional, confident, and discreet.
- Cultural awareness, etiquette, and adaptability for UK guests who may represent varied nationalities.
- Direct and indirect pre-key interactions with guests requiring tact, inclusivity, and service anticipatory in all instances.
