Are you highly organised, customer-focused, and thrive in a fast-paced operational environment?
We're looking for a Traffic Co-ordinator to join our Logistics team at Shotton Mill, playing a critical role in coordinating over 200 HGV movements per day across one of the UK's most exciting manufacturing and distribution operations.
As the first point of contact for drivers arriving on site, you'll be responsible for managing vehicle arrivals and departures, coordinating loading and unloading activities, maintaining safety standards, and ensuring the efficient operation of our Time Slot Management System.
What You'll Be Doing
- Managing inbound and outbound vehicle movements across the site
- Coordinating vehicle bookings through our Time Slot Management System
- Conducting driver inductions and ensuring compliance with site safety procedures
- Managing driver sign-in/sign-out processes and site access
- Coordinating loading and unloading activities with Warehouse Operations, Chargehands, Control Tower teams, and transport providers
- Monitoring vehicle turnaround times and driver waiting times
- Preparing and managing transport documentation and delivery paperwork
- Supporting continuous improvement initiatives across the logistics operation
- Delivering a professional and positive experience for drivers, customers, and transport partners

What We're Looking For
Essential:
- Minimum 2 years' experience in a logistics, transport, warehouse, or distribution environment
- Experience coordinating deliveries, collections, vehicle movements, or transport activities
- Strong organisational and administrative skills
- Excellent communication and customer service abilities
- Experience handling transport documentation and operational records
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple priorities

Desirable:
- Experience with Time Slot Management Systems (TSMS)
- Warehouse Management System (WMS) experience
- Transportation Management System (TMS) experience
- Manufacturing, FMCG, or distribution sector experience
- Knowledge of transport compliance and scheduling processes
- IOSH Working Safely qualification
- Full UK Driving Licence
- Turkish language skills
