Job Opportunity: Traffic Management Operative (Circet UK – Dorset)

About the Role

Circet UK are seeking a Traffic Management Operative to join their team in Dorset, reporting to the Operation Manager.

The TM operative will oversee the installation, maintenance and removal of all site-based traffic management activities in collaboration with Circet Traffic Management.

Key Responsibilities

  • Competently perform the installation, maintenance and removal of complex traffic management schemes across rural and urban road networks.
  • Attend site meetings with clients, local authorities, and relevant third parties to co-ordinate activities.
  • Interpret and apply complex Traffic Management (TM) CAD drawings.
  • Survey and design traffic management schemes, considering associated risks and traffic counts, to support the production of detailed TM plans.
  • Maintain excellent timekeeping and attendance records.
  • Ensure compliance with Health & Safety legislation for all operations.

Requirements

Essential Skills & Qualifications

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • ability to multitask while adapting to changing priorities.
  • Preference for experience working in a traffic management environment.
  • Fully trained or partially qualified for temporary traffic management (Sector Scheme 12D qualification preferred but training provided).
  • Full driving licence.
  • Flexibility to work weekends.
  • Experience in a fast-paced, high-turnaround role.
  • Availability for immediate start.
  • Knowledge of online-based systems.
  • Commitment to Health & Safety compliance (failure to uphold safety protocols may result in disciplinary action).

Qualifications & Experience

  • Sector Scheme 12D qualification (training provided if not previously held but advantageous).

Working Conditions
