Job Opportunity: Traffic Management Operative (Circet UK – Dorset)
About the Role
Circet UK are seeking a Traffic Management Operative to join their team in Dorset, reporting to the Operation Manager.
The TM operative will oversee the installation, maintenance and removal of all site-based traffic management activities in collaboration with Circet Traffic Management.
Key Responsibilities
- Competently perform the installation, maintenance and removal of complex traffic management schemes across rural and urban road networks.
- Attend site meetings with clients, local authorities, and relevant third parties to co-ordinate activities.
- Interpret and apply complex Traffic Management (TM) CAD drawings.
- Survey and design traffic management schemes, considering associated risks and traffic counts, to support the production of detailed TM plans.
- Maintain excellent timekeeping and attendance records.
- Ensure compliance with Health & Safety legislation for all operations.

Requirements
Essential Skills & Qualifications
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- ability to multitask while adapting to changing priorities.
- Preference for experience working in a traffic management environment.
- Fully trained or partially qualified for temporary traffic management (Sector Scheme 12D qualification preferred but training provided).
- Full driving licence.
- Flexibility to work weekends.
- Experience in a fast-paced, high-turnaround role.
- Availability for immediate start.
- Knowledge of online-based systems.
- Commitment to Health & Safety compliance (failure to uphold safety protocols may result in disciplinary action).

Qualifications & Experience
- Sector Scheme 12D qualification (training provided if not previously held but advantageous).
Working Conditions
- Permit-to-work system in place.
- Full Health & Safety compliance required.
- Disciplinary process applies for safety breaches.
