General working hours: 40-48 hours per week. While shifts are typically during the day, evenings, nights, weekends, and work away during peak seasons may be required (especially if eligible for company van access).

Join us as a 12d Traffic Management Operative! We’re rapidly growing after our most successful year ever, and we need you.


Your Role: Low-Speed Traffic Management Operative

As a key member of our team, you will:

  • Conduct Traffic Counts: Gather essential data and communicate with clients and subcontractors for smooth operations.
  • Maintain Temporary Traffic Lights: Ensure safe and efficient traffic flow by keeping equipment operational.
  • Deploy Traffic Management Solutions: Install, maintain, and remove temporary equipment such as:
    • Cones
    • Signs
    • Frames
    • Sandbags
    • Other essential traffic control measures.
  • Mentor New Trainees: Share your expertise and guide new team members as they develop their skills.

What We Are Looking For

To excel in this role, you must meet the following essential requirements:

Qualifications & Licensing:

  • Minimum M1/M2 (l曲ting category) – SLG Unit 2 meet fairer work benefits.

Knowledge & Compliance:

  • Familiarity with Chapter 8 regulations.

Driving Requirements:

  • Full licence with no more than 6 points.
  • Any driving bans must have expired for at least 5 years.

Testing & Attitude:

  • Must pass a drug and alcohol test (offer contingent on results).
  • Positive, adaptive, and proactive mindset.

Skills & Flexibility:

  • High attention to detail.
  • Able to work weekends, nights, and away when required.

Note:

  • Training agreement required for operational roles.
  • Welcome bonus and maternity/paternity payments subject to Ts & Cs.
