General working hours: 40–48 hours per week Shifts may include evenings, nights, weekends, and peak-season travel.

Chevron Traffic Management ensures road workers and users stay safe during roadworks by:
- Setting up temporary road closures, diversions, and pedestrian walkways
- Managing cones, signage, temporary traffic lights, and barriers
- Collaborating with suppliers/customers to design safe and effective schemes
- Using innovation & technology to reduce carbon footprints

Your Role as a 12d Traffic Management Operative
As a key team member, you’ll:
- Conduct traffic counts for accurate data collection
- Communicate with clients and subcontractors to streamline operations
- Maintain temporary traffic lights for optimal safety
- Deploy & manage equipment like:
- Cones
- Signs
- Frames
- Sandbags
- Mentor new trainees with expert guidance
Requirements
To qualify, you must meet the following essential criteria:
- Qualifications: Minimum M1/M2 certification; SLG Unit 2 experience considered
- Chapter 8 Regulations: Proficiency or willingness to learn
- Driving licence: Full licence with no more than 6 points; any bans must be ≥5 years expired
- Drug & alcohol screening: Successful results required for an offer
- Attitude: Positive, proactive "can-do" mindset
- Skills: Adaptability, flexibility, meticulous attention to detail
- Availability: Readiness to work on weekends, nights, and away as needed
