Location & Commitment
General working hours: 40–48 hours per week
Due to industry demand, you may occasionally be required to:
- Work Evenings, nights, and weekends
- Work away during peak seasons
- Be on-call (particularly if you qualify for a company van)

Your Role
As a 12d Traffic Management Operative, your responsibilities include:
- Conducting Traffic Counts
- Collect essential data and liaise with clients/subcontractors
- Maintaining Temporary Traffic Lights
- Ensure safe and uninterrupted traffic flow
- Deploying Traffic Management Solutions
- Install, maintain, and remove:
- Cones
- Signs
- Frames
- Sandbags
- Other related equipment
- Install, maintain, and remove:
- Mentoring Trainees
- Share expertise with new team members

Requirements
Essential Criteria
- Qualifications:
- M1/M2 certification (SLG Unit 2 considered)
- Regulatory Knowledge:
- Familiarity with Chapter 8 regulations
- Licence & Record:
- Full driving licence with ≤6 points; driving bans expired ≥5 years
- Testing & Screening:
- Must pass drug/alcohol test (employment contingent)
- Attitude/Skills:
- Positive ‘can-do’ mindset
- Adaptability, flexibility, and meticulous attention to detail
- Availability:
- Willing to work weekends, nights, and vice versa (when necessary)
Additional Notes
- Training Agreement: Subject to signing a training contract
- Refer a Friend: Earn £750 per qualified 12ab Operative referral
