Traffic Management Supervisor
Senior Traffic Management Supervisor – North Scotland
About the Role
Circet UK are seeking a Traffic Management Supervisor to join our team in North Scotland, reporting to the Operations Manager.
This field-based role involves delivering complex traffic management site audits across Circet sites while ensuring full health & safety compliance. You’ll oversee the implementation, maintenance, and removal of traffic management schemes—aligning with our operational requirements—alongside regular audits, toolbox talks, and client liaison.
Key Responsibilities

Site-Specific Duties
- Implement, maintain, and remove complex traffic management schemes safely and effectively.
- Conduct Traffic Management (TM) audits of:
- Internal workforce at regular intervals
- Wider Circet group sites to verify full compliance
- Deliver mandatory toolbox talks for all personnel, including recording and reporting findings to the Operations Manager.

Operational & Client Engagement
- Attend regular operational meetings to discuss updated company procedures and project demands.
- Oversee TM requirements across allocated sites.
- Act as a visions point between Circet management, clients, and contractors:
- Assess upcoming projects with clients
- Assist in planning & coordinating traffic arrangements.

Requirements
Qualifications & Experience
- Certified in the sector scheme 12AB and 12AD (Horse-Rider Designated User) qualifications.
- Full UK driving license (including trailer/bendy-hitch licence).
- Minimum 5 years of experience in traffic management—at operative level or above.
- Demonstrate critical thinking, problem-solving, and adaptability in fast-paced hazards.
Personality & Skill-Sets
The successful candidate must:
- Conduct themselves professionally in meetings, audits, and discussions.
- Handle confidential/sensitive information with discretion.
- Prioritise high attention to detail in audit/evaluation tasks.
- Exercise strong customer service skills when liaising with contractors, clients, and management.
- Manage conflict effectively and collaborate to achieve shared goals.
