Traffic Marshall (Construction)
Location: Maidenhead, Pay Rate: £17.00 – £18.00 per hour
Temp Role Employed by: Randstad UK CPE Team
About the Role
Randstad UK CPE team is recruiting for a Traffic Marshall role to support a residential project in Maidenhead.
Key Responsibilities
- Guide vehicles and heavy machinery through designated routes to ensure smooth traffic flow
- Use hand signals, signs, and radios for clear communication with drivers and operators
- Monitor the site for obstructions or unsafe conditions and take immediate action to mitigate risks
- Implement established traffic management plans and ensure the safety of pedestrians at crossing points
- Assist with site security, deter unauthorised access, and maintain accurate records of traffic flow or incidents
- Participate in toolbox talks and report safety hazards to site management

Qualifications and Requirements
- Valid NPORS or CPCS Card (Traffic Marshall/Vehicle Marshaller)
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience as a Traffic Marshall on utility or large-scale construction sites
- Recent, checkable work reference required
- Proven proactive approach to site safety and excellent communication skills
