Who We Are Looking For
A self-motivated SIA Licensed Traffic Safety Officer/Receptionist who is passionate about maintaining a secure and compliant environment. You will:
- Ensure all employees, contractors, tenants, and visitors adhere to the on-site driving and access policy.
- Promote driver awareness and safety for authorised personnel.
- Operate on an average of 45 hours per week, following this shift pattern:
- Monday–Thursday: 0700–1630
- Friday: 0700–1400

What You Will Need
To succeed in this role, you must have:
- Excellent communication skills and a strong customer focus
- A valid SIA Front-Line License – essential
- A Full UK Driving License – essential
- Confidence in building and sustaining positive working relationships at all levels
- Ability to work to tight deadlines, multitask, and thrive under pressure
- Excellent IT skills, including Microsoft Software Packages (e.g. Excel)
- Ability to achieve vetting to BS7858 standards
What You Will Do
In this role, your key responsibilities will include:
- Using Lotus Notes Visitors database to verify all visitors have been authorised for site entry by an on-site sponsor.
- Capturing data for all visitors via the Lotus Notes Database.
- Assisting visitors without proper authorisation to resolve access issues.
- Managing vehicle registration and issuing vehicle passes.
- Supporting the Induction Controller, including deputising during absences.
- Facilitating card replacements and data updates to ensure smooth operations.
- Monitoring driver behaviour via CCTV to enforce on-site driving policy, including speed limits and mobile phone restrictions.
- Instructing, advising, and coaching drivers to improve safety compliance.
- Conducting investigations into accidents/collisions and recommending preventative measures.
- Performing random vehicle compliance checks.
- Undertaking ad-hoc duties as required.
