Trailer Mechanic – Travin Toys, Inc. Tracy
Job Summary:
We are seeking a full-time skilled Trailer Mechanic to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing maintenance and repairs on Utility, Cargo, Dump, and equipment trailers, including brakes, suspension systems, electrical systems, and more. The ideal candidate will have experience working with a variety of trailer types, such as utility, dump, cargo, and equipment, and be able to diagnose and troubleshoot issues quickly and efficiently.
Responsibilities:
- Perform routine maintenance on trailers
- Diagnose and troubleshoot issues with trailers. Including electrical systems, suspension systems, and more
- Repair or replace damaged or worn parts, including brakes, tires, and suspension components
- Perform welding and fabrication work as needed
- Ensure all work is completed in a timely and efficient manner
- Maintain accurate records of all work performed
- Communicate with Service Advisor regarding repairs and maintenance
- Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- At least 2 years of experience working as a Trailer Mechanic
- Strong knowledge of trailer systems, including brakes, suspension, and electrical systems
- Ability to diagnose and troubleshoot issues quickly and efficiently
- Experience with welding and fabrication
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Spanish-speaking ability is a plus

Physical Demands:
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
- Ability to stand, bend, and kneel for extended periods of time
- Ability to work in a variety of weather conditions
Hourly Pay:
Will be commensurate with experience and qualifications.
