Your Future Role
We are seeking a Train Aesthetics and Presentation Manager to oversee supplier contracts, ensuring immaculate cleanliness and aesthetic maintenance of the Class 345 fleet across all networks.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage a supplier contract for train presentation, guaranteeing high standards of cleanliness and aesthetics.
- Build strong relationships with key train operators to align with customer needs, collaborate on solutions, and streamline delivery.
- Partner with third-party presentation contractors and Alstom’s Operations, Engineering, and Projects teams (Quality, Fleet Control, EHS) to deliver consistent excellence.
- Develop Alstom’s Customer Strategy in collaboration with internal stakeholders.

Core Tasks:
- Act as a single point of contact for customer-facing concerns, such as cleaning/train presentation.
- Lead Programmes of audits with customers and suppliers to maintain premium standards.
- Conduct monthly contract reviews with cleaning service providers.
- Optimise defect reporting workflows with customers.
- Foster partnerships with train operators via performance reviews and feedback-driven action.
- Compile and present periodic performance reports.
- Champion a Customer Experience (CX) strategy, influencing cultural change.
- Oversee daily performance KPIs of the cleaning service provider.
Experience & Qualities
We prioritise attitude, passion, and potential—not just experience. Essential skills include:
- Background working with train operators (preferably in customer experience or train presentation), though cross-industry experience will be considered.
- Strong customer service mindset with a passion for enhancing public travel experiences.
- Exceptional communicator, adept at building relationships with customers, suppliers, and internal stakeholders.
- Ability to drive change at all organisational levels.
- Track record of collaborative teamwork with contractors, suppliers, and customers.
- Proficiency in written and verbal communication, plus IT skills (PC proficiency for office packages, email, intranet).
