About the Role
Ready to kickstart your driving career? Join us as a Trainee Driver at The Sofa Delivery Company, where you'll embark on our in-house Driving School programme. During your first 12 weeks, you’ll drive a 3.5-ton van as part of your training journey, eventually upgrading to a 7.5-ton driving licence.

- Flexible 4-on, 4-off shift pattern (7am–7pm), ensuring plenty of time outside work
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver furniture safely and professionally to customers’ homes
- Provide pre-delivery communication to keep customers informed
- Ensure furniture is delivered to the correct room and leaves no rubbish behind
- Work collaboratively with your team to provide feedback and improve service standards
- Represent The Sofa Delivery Company and its partners at all times
- Comply with all government driving laws and company policies

- Willing to lift and move heavy furniture when required
Requirements
- Valid UK driving licence (6 points or fewer)
- At least 2 years of driving experience, with no drink/drug convictions
- A positive attitude and willingness to learn!
