Trainee Sales Account Executive – London

£33,000–£35,000 base salary + uncapped commission

Full training provided | No previous sales experience required

Our client is looking for ambitious individuals ready to take their first step into a commercial career. This Trainee Sales Account Executive role is ideal for someone who wants to develop consultative sales skills, build long-term client relationships, and work across a variety of sectors — all without needing any prior experience in sales.

If you’re driven, curious, and confident engaging with people, this opportunity provides the training and support to develop into a high-performing Account Executive.

The Role

As a Trainee Sales Account Executive, you'll learn how to manage the full early-stage sales process — from identifying potential customers to handling conversations that uncover business needs.

This is a people-focused role. You’ll be speaking with prospects, understanding their challenges, and positioning solutions that genuinely add value. You’ll work closely with senior team members, gaining direct insight into how successful Account Executives operate.

What You’ll Be Doing

Researching and identifying potential clients across a mix of industries Initiating conversations with key decision-makers Understanding customer challenges and mapping them to the right solutions Supporting the wider sales team by qualifying and handing over warm opportunities Contributing to account-building activities and nurturing early relationships Learning consultative sales techniques and becoming confident with sales platforms and tools
