Trainee Accounts Assistant
Martin & Fahy Accountants LLP are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Trainee Accounts Assistant to join our busy and friendly accountancy practice.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to begin a career in accountancy. No previous experience is required, as full on-the-job training will be provided by senior members of our team.
Key Responsibilities
As a Trainee Accounts Assistant, you will gradually learn to assist with:
- Preparation of accounts for a variety of clients
- VAT return preparation and submission
- Payroll processing and reporting
- Basic tax return preparation
- General administrative and office duties, including answering telephone calls, filing, and shredding

Training and Development
This is an entry-level position and no prior accountancy experience is required. Initial training will be provided within the workplace by senior members of staff, allowing you to build practical experience across a range of accountancy and business services.
For this position, a formal study package is not offered at the outset; however, successful candidates will gain valuable hands-on experience within a professional accountancy practice.
Office based, Monday-Friday 37.5 hours per week
