Trainee Business Development Representative
£30,000 Base Salary | £60,000 OTE | 3% Commission on Every Closed Deal You Generate
Want to work in the healthcare and pharmaceutical industry, but in a commercial role rather than a scientific one?
We're hiring a Trainee Business Development Representative (BDR) to join a fast-growing healthcare media and communications business that partners with some of the world's leading pharmaceutical, biotech, and healthcare organisations.
The company creates trusted medical content, journals, podcasts, webinars, congress coverage, and digital campaigns that help healthcare professionals stay informed about the latest clinical developments and innovations.

What You'll Be Doing
- Identifying and engaging pharmaceutical, biotech, and healthcare companies
- Speaking with senior decision-makers via phone, email, and LinkedIn
- Booking qualified meetings and generating new business opportunities
- Working closely with Account Executives on target accounts and campaigns
- Learning the healthcare and pharmaceutical landscape
- Building the pipeline that drives revenue for the wider sales team

A degree or interest in Life Sciences, Healthcare, Biomedical Sciences, Pharmacology, Business, Marketing, or a related subject would be advantageous, but isn't essential.
What's On Offer?
- £30,000 basic salary
- £60,000 OTE in your first year
- 3% commission on every deal that closes from opportunities you generate
