Salary

£14.20 per hour (automatic progression to £15.50 after qualification)

Contract

  • Full-time, permanent
  • 38 hours per week
  • 5 days per week (Monday–Sunday)
  • No prior experience needed (full training provided)

Looking for a permanent, full-time role with clear progression? We’re hiring Trainee Bus Drivers to join our Stoke on Trent team.

You’ll work a variety of shifts across mornings, evenings, and weekends, with shifts planned in advance for structure and flexibility, including weekday time off.


What You’ll Do

  • Work across different shifts (including early mornings/late nights and weekends).
  • Deliver safe, comfortable, and punctual passenger journeys.
  • Advance through structured training, with guaranteed pay progression as skills develop.

Requirements

Essential

  • Proof of Right to Work in the UK.
  • At least 18 years old.
  • Full UK driving licence with no more than 6 points.
  • At least 6 months’ driving experience (any vehicle).
  • Flexibility to work on a rota/shift basis (shifts may start as early as 03:30 or finish as late as 02:00).
  • Great people skills – ability to interact positively with passengers and colleagues.
