Pertemps are working with an established Manufacturing business based in Southampton who are recruiting for a Trainee CAD Designer to join their team. This is a full time, permanent position.

Responsibilities as a Trainee CAD Designer:

  • Complete 2D drawings as per company standard
  • Complete inhouse training & develop understanding of products
  • Create and maintain supporting drawing documents
  • Produce schematic drawings in line with company standards
  • Support with creating and updating of technical drawings, assist with electrical panel and schematic drawings diagrams.

  • Level 3 Electrical and Engineering qualification.
  • Understanding of AutoCAD or Solid Works
  • Meticulous attention to detail

The Trainee CAD Designer role:

  • Starting Salary of £26,227.50
  • Monday – Friday 9am – 5.30pm
  • 20 days annual leave plus bank holidays (rising up to 25 days with length of service)
  • Employee Assistance Programme
  • Birthday off
