Travel Recovery Claims Handler – Strata Solicitors

Ready to make a difference in travel insurance?

Gallagher is looking for a Travel Recovery Claims Handler to join our in-house legal team, Strata Solicitors. This is a great opportunity for someone looking to build a career in claims, insurance, legal services, or financial services.

You'll join a supportive team, learning how travel-related claims are managed—from initial notification through to resolution—while delivering excellent service to customers and stakeholders.


How You’ll Make an Impact

  • Managing new claims on our system and carrying out initial checks
  • Gathering information and documentation to support claim progression
  • Communicating with customers, insurers, solicitors, and other third parties
  • Keeping claim records accurate and up to date
  • Handling correspondence and administrative tasks in a timely manner
  • Supporting the wider team to ensure claims are progressed efficiently
  • Working within company processes, service standards, and regulatory requirements

About You

We’re looking for individuals with the following attributes:

  • 5 GCSEs (or equivalent), including English and Maths
  • Previous experience in:
    • Administration
    • Customer service
    • Insurance
    • Claims
    • A legal environment (beneficial but not essential)
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the confidence to engage with a range of stakeholders
  • Attention to detail and the ability to maintain accurate records
  • Well-organised, self-motivated, and equipped to manage priorities effectively
  • A positive attitude with a willingness to learn and develop in a claims environment
  • (Preferred but not essential:) A Law degree or insurance qualification
  • (Preferred but not essential:) Travel insurance or travel claims experience
  • Eligibility to work in the UK
