Travel Recovery Claims Handler – Strata Solicitors
Ready to make a difference in travel insurance?
Gallagher is looking for a Travel Recovery Claims Handler to join our in-house legal team, Strata Solicitors. This is a great opportunity for someone looking to build a career in claims, insurance, legal services, or financial services.
You'll join a supportive team, learning how travel-related claims are managed—from initial notification through to resolution—while delivering excellent service to customers and stakeholders.
How You’ll Make an Impact
- Managing new claims on our system and carrying out initial checks
- Gathering information and documentation to support claim progression
- Communicating with customers, insurers, solicitors, and other third parties
- Keeping claim records accurate and up to date
- Handling correspondence and administrative tasks in a timely manner
- Supporting the wider team to ensure claims are progressed efficiently
- Working within company processes, service standards, and regulatory requirements

About You
We’re looking for individuals with the following attributes:
- 5 GCSEs (or equivalent), including English and Maths
- Previous experience in:
- Administration
- Customer service
- Insurance
- Claims
- A legal environment (beneficial but not essential)
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the confidence to engage with a range of stakeholders
- Attention to detail and the ability to maintain accurate records
- Well-organised, self-motivated, and equipped to manage priorities effectively
- A positive attitude with a willingness to learn and develop in a claims environment
- (Preferred but not essential:) A Law degree or insurance qualification
- (Preferred but not essential:) Travel insurance or travel claims experience
- Eligibility to work in the UK
