Job Summary and Key Responsibilities:
The Claims Handler is responsible for processing rental warranty claims efficiently and accurately, ensuring excellent customer service and compliance with internal and external regulations. This role involves managing a caseload, collaborating with colleagues, and escalating complex cases to the Senior Claims Handler when needed.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage a portfolio of claims, ensuring timely and accurate assessment and resolution.
- Review all necessary documentation and evidence to support claims decisions.
- Communicate with clients and stakeholders to provide updates and clarify claim requirements.
- Ensure all claims adhere to company policies, procedures, and UK regulatory standards.
- Identify and escalate complex or high-priority cases to the Senior Claims Handler for further review.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all claims activity in the claims management system.
- Contribute to the department’s objectives by meeting individual and team performance targets.
- Participate in training and development opportunities to enhance knowledge and skills.

What Are We Looking For:
- Previous experience in claims handling or a customer service role (rental warranty or insurance experience preferred).
- Basic understanding of claims management processes and UK regulatory requirements.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to provide clear and concise updates to clients and stakeholders.
- Good organizational skills and the ability to manage a busy caseload effectively.
- Problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify when to escalate a case for additional support.
- High attention to detail to ensure accuracy in claims processing.
- Proficiency in claims systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
