Pro Insurance currently have some new opportunities for Trainee Claims Technician to join our Legacy Claims Team, processing claims in support of an existing client. Pro operates a hybrid working model and the majority of this role will be working from home with travel to your local hub in Glasgow, Liverpool or Horsham on a weekly basis post training and other locations as and when required.
Purpose of Role & Responsibilities
Reporting to the Legacy Claims Team Leader, the Trainee Claims Technician will be trained to handle a caseload of EL/PL disease claims, to include the following:
- NIHL
- HAVs
- RSI
Manage all diaries and post within the agreed SLAs
Liaise with solicitors and brokers
Develop effective business relationships internally and externally
Maintain accurate records for auditing and regulatory purposes
Identify potential fraud
Proactively support the team in their achievements and overall business objectives
Represent Pro in a Professional manner to both peer and potential marketplace acquaintances

Skills and Experience
A technical background relating to EL/PL or industrial disease claims is preferable but claims handling experience from any background is advantageous
- Effective written and verbal communication skills
- Numeric with excellent attention to detail
- Experience using MS Office including Word, Excel, Outlook and MS Teams is required
- Adaptable to change
- Strong relationship building skills with a professional and approachable manner
- Ability to work towards Service Level Agreements with accuracy
