Key duties include:

  • Preparing and reviewing statutory financial statements, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and adherence to accounting standards.
  • Assisting with management accounts, including analysis and commentary, alongside financial forecasting.
  • Supporting tax compliance, including the preparation of personal and corporate tax returns, while meeting key deadlines.
  • Building and maintaining strong client relationships to ensure satisfaction and engagement.
  • Collaborating with colleagues to meet deadlines, share knowledge, and contribute to a positive, professional working environment.

Requirements

Skills, Knowledge & Expertise

Candidates should ideally:

  • Be midway through studying towards their ACCA or ACA qualification or possess AAT qualification.
  • Have work experience in a similar environment.
  • Excel at analysing and interpreting information with precision.
  • Be personable and client-focused, enjoying the development of long-term relationships.
  • Demonstrate initiative in technology use, proficiency in tools, and adaptability in dynamic settings.
  • Be competent in or quick to learn Microsoft Office—plus a bonus for experience with Xero or other cloud accounting software.
