On a daily basis this will involve:
- Training: Participate in structured learning programmes designed to develop technical conveyancing knowledge and practical case-handling skills.
- Case Support: Assist experienced conveyancers with the progression of residential property transactions from instruction through to completion.
- Client Care: Provide professional and friendly support to clients, keeping them informed throughout their property journey.
- Administration: Prepare correspondence, maintain accurate records and update case management systems in line with internal procedures.
- Communication: Liaise with clients, estate agents, mortgage lenders and solicitors to help progress matters efficiently.
- Organisation: Manage priorities effectively, ensuring tasks are completed accurately and within required timescales.
- Compliance: Follow regulatory requirements, lender instructions and internal quality standards at all times.
- Development: Build technical expertise and professional confidence through mentoring, feedback and ongoing training opportunities.
The Individual
To be successful in the recruitment process you will need to evidence the following in your CV:
- Previous experience in an assistant or paralegal role specifically within Conveyancing is essential.
- Passion for a career in legal services and property law.
- Willingness to learn and grow within a fast-paced environment.
- Strong attention to detail and excellent organisational skills.
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
- A positive attitude and willingness to learn.
- Proficiency in using legal software and Microsoft Office Suite.
