About The Role…

We are excited to be recruiting for a Trainee Customer Consultant working exclusively with our Toyota franchise. This is an unrivalled opportunity to join one of the UK’s fastest growing motor groups.

A Stoneacre Customer Consultant will be a welcoming individual who can communicate well with a wide range of clients. Above all, we value honesty and integrity amongst everyone we hire. Whilst working for Stoneacre in Northallerton the Trainee programme is delivered through the Toyota Academy, our outstanding learning & development organisation. The Trainee Customer Consultant programme targets and develops high calibre people like you, who may have recently completed their education and are seeking the first rung of the ladder in a professional automotive career. As a Trainee Customer Consultant, you will be part of a new Toyota initiative which fast tracks you through the 12-week programme and onto the Academy’s development path, leading to a full industry-recognised accreditation and potentially into management.

An average day as a Trainee Customer Consultant…

  • Understand product features, characteristics, etc. to maximise sales potential.
  • Provide industry leading customer service.
  • Build and maintain great relationships with existing and new customers to maximise future sales.
  • Maintain accurate records of customer requirements, completing sales contracts and other sales administration.
  • Raise the profile of the dealership and enhancing the reputation of the business.

About You…

  • Enjoy working with people and excel in a customer facing sales environment.
  • Have strong communication skills with the ability to adapt to each customer’s needs.
  • Highly motivated and can work well under pressure.
  • Able to work well both within a close team and as an individual.
  • Be able and willing to achieve agreed sales targets across our product range.
  • Be a free thinker with ambitions for yourself, the centre, and the Stoneacre family.
  • You will be eligible to work in the UK.
  • You will have GCSE Maths and English, and at least 2 A Levels or equivalent qualification.
  • Excellent IT skills, (MS Word, PowerPoint, and Excel).
  • We want you to love what you do – The rest will come naturally.
