The Role
As a Trainee Dental Nurse, you'll work closely with our experienced clinicians and nursing team, gaining hands-on experience while completing your qualification.
You'll be supported throughout your training as you develop the skills and confidence needed to become a qualified Dental Nurse.
Your Responsibilities
- Assisting clinicians with chairside support across a range of dental treatments.
- Preparing and maintaining treatment rooms.
- Learning and following infection prevention and control procedures.
- Assisting with decontamination and instrument processing.
- Supporting patients throughout their appointments with professionalism and empathy.
- Learning to maintain accurate clinical records and documentation.
- Working collaboratively with the wider practice team to ensure the smooth running of the practice.

Working Pattern
This is a full-time position working 43.5 hours per week:
- Monday - Thursday: 7:45am - 5:45pm
- Friday: 7:45am - 3:45pm

About You
We're looking for someone who is:
- Already enrolled on an accredited Dental Nursing qualification (essential).
- Ideally has some previous experience working within a dental practice.
- Enthusiastic, motivated and eager to learn.
- Friendly, caring and passionate about delivering excellent patient care.
- Reliable, organised and able to work well within a team.
- A confident communicator with a positive, proactive attitude.
- Committed to completing their qualification and developing a long-term career in dental nursing.
