Trainee Dental Nurse Vacancy

If so, we’ve got the Trainee Dental Nurse vacancy for you in our wonderful nursing team at Amery House Dental Practice in Cowes, Isle of Wight.
Essential Information
- Hours: 34 hours per week on a rota basis
- Working Hours: 7:30 AM – 4:30 PM, 4 days a week (Monday to Friday), including apprenticeship study time. Attendance on weekends may occasionally be required depending on practice needs
- Payment: Competitive pay at National Minimum Wage whilst studying (not the lower apprenticeship rate)
- Support: Full training provided by an industry-leading external training provider, with ongoing support from our experienced and friendly clinical team
- Flexibility: Some flexibility with days may be requested in line with practice needs. Rotas are confirmed 6 weeks in advance
About You
We welcome applications from those who meet the following criteria:
- Qualifications: Ideally, Maths & English GCSE grades A-C / 4-9, or equivalent qualifications such as Key Skills or Functional Skills Level 2
- Communication Skills: Confident and empathetic communicator with a service-focused approach
- Commitment to Learning: Keen to develop the skills needed to be an experienced dental nurse by assisting dentists, hygienists, and therapists across various procedures
