Trainee Events Manager

Event Manager – Farm Division

£25,000 - £30,000 per annum (plus bonus scheme)

About the Role

Join our evolving marketing team as an Event Manager! Reporting directly to the Divisional Director, you’ll play a pivotal role in enhancing our Farm Division’s presence at major agricultural shows and events across the UK.

Key responsibilities include managing marquee logistics, event coordination, brand-building partnerships, and stylish stand management.


Responsibilities

  • Event Operations & Logistics

    • Transport and assemble our marquees at UK-wide agricultural events
    • Oversee full event setups, including equipment and logistics
  • Event Coordination

    • Plan, organise, and staff top-tier agricultural shows
    • Collaborate with agricultural societies, breeders, farmer groups, and hosts

  • Marketing & Compliance

    • Create and align marketing materials with our brand guidelines
    • Develop and execute event plans (budgeting, equipment needs, timelines)
  • Reporting & Strategy

    • Compile quarterly activity plans and weekly performance reports
    • Contribute to market analyses and share insights for improvement
  • Facility Management

    • Maintain storage and condition of all show equipment
    • Oversee accommodation bookings, stand upkeep, and presentation
  • Innovation & Teamwork

    • Drive fresh ideas to improve event engagement
    • Work collaboratively across departments

About You

Essential Requirements

  • Valid UK driving licence (preferably with or willing to obtain HGV(LCV) experience)
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills
  • Proficiency in MS Excel (budgeting/filtering) and PowerPoint
  • Organisational prowess – able to manage complex deadlines
  • Willingness to work flexible hours, travel throughout the UK and travel
