Trainee & Experienced Ship Broker Positions

Role Summaries:

Trainee: We are looking to employ an individual as a trainee shipbroker to join our dry cargo team. You will be given close guidance and tutelage from the partners and colleagues within the company to equip you with the tools to succeed in the sector. You will be based in the Woking office whilst under training but once trained there is potentially the option for hybrid working. The ideal candidate should come with formal education in shipping/business or some connection to the industry however this is not essential. The successful candidate must possess a willingness to work as a team player and support your colleagues, whilst they support you in return. We pride ourselves on having developed a fun, energetic and collaborative working environment and are looking for an individual with a similar personality and drive. Experienced: We are looking to employ experienced brokers to join our dry cargo team. Your responsibilities will include liaising with your own set of clients in order to develop and secure business as well as assisting colleagues in their efforts to do the same. You will have your own autonomy to pursue opportunities as you see fit. The ideal candidate should come with a proven track record of broking within the sector and be willing to work as a team player. Preference is for a broker to be office-based in the main Woking office however we are open to looking at a combination of home/office working and indeed fully remote working for the right candidate. Application Process: Advertising for the role will be open until 16th July, after which all suitable candidates will be considered. There will then be a round of interviews in the Woking office. Following which, those candidates we wish to take further in the process will be invited to spend a day in the office with the team after which the successful candidate will be offered the role.
