Trainee Field Technician – Water Industry Career Opportunity
Would you like to join a company that offers full training and support to kick start a career in the Water Industry?
Do you have a full clean driving licence?
Our client is recruiting for a Trainee Field Technician who will cover the local areas. The role involves detecting and identifying leaks on underground water networks.
The Job
- Assist in detailed surveys to identify the type and location of water leaks
- Provide leak detection services to repair gangs
- Support survey work/project work, not normally associated with daily leak detection
- Ensure adequate and accurate completion of all paperwork, including:
- Time sheets
- Survey forms
- Leak details
- Other required documents
- Utilise basic computer skills (data uploads onto a laptop for reporting)

Essential Requirement: ✔ A full and valid clean driving licence (driving is a core part of this role)
Full Training Will Be Provided
The following qualifications will be covered:
- EUSR Water Hygiene Training
- Unit 2 Street Work
Ideal Candidates Include
- Graduates
- Ex-Service Personnel
- Drivers & Delivery Professionals (Multi-drop metering, meter readers, delivery experience)
- Manual/Outdoor Workers with hands-on backgrounds
