Trainee Field Technician – Water Industry Career Opportunity
About the Role
Looking to kickstart a career in the Water Industry? Our company provides full training and support for aspiring Trainee Field Technicians.
You will need:
- A full clean Driving Licence (UK manual).
This is a full-time role, Monday to Friday, with flexible working hours.
Job Description
As a Trainee Field Technician, your key responsibilities will include:
- Assisting in leak detection activities across a water distribution network.
- Recording acoustic sound files using digital equipment.
- Working independently in urban/suburban environments.
- Adhering to performance indicators set by the client.
- Liaising with supervisors and working towards targets.
- Performing manual tasks, including lifting, stretching, and bending.
- Experience with driving long hours would be beneficial.

Requirements
Essential:
- Full UK manual Driving Licence.
- Ability to work outdoors and interact with the public.
- Self-motivated, detail-oriented, with a focus on customer service and teamwork.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Ability to prioritise tasks.
Desirable (Training Provided):
- Water Hygiene, Street Works, and Manual Handling Health & Safety accreditation (all fully trained).
