- £30.3k per annum, rising to £33.7k after successful probation.

Your mission: Help deliver gas services, repairs, and new mains installations safely and efficiently—ensuring millions of people stay warm year-round.
Key Responsibilities
- Learn and support engineers in the field, observing daily gas service/maintenance work.
- Outdoor fieldwork:
- Excavation in public/private areas
- Laying & repairing gas pipelines
- Working alone or as part of a team in all weather conditions.
- 24/7 availability:
- Respond to emergencies, including gas escapes, requiring shift work (weekends/nights).
- Standby & overtime opportunities for irregular hours.
- Maintain SGN vehicles and tools to ensure safe, efficient operations.
