The Trainee Geography Teacher will:

  • Support engaging Geography lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4
  • Have opportunities to contribute to enrichment activities

Requirements:

  • Hold a strong Geography-related degree (2:1 or above preferred)
  • Demonstrate excellent subject knowledge
  • Have a genuine passion for education
  • Previous experience working with young people in schools, tutoring or mentoring is desirable
  • Must be enthusiastic, organised, resilient, and committed to achieving outstanding outcomes for every learner

About the Academy:

  • Educates around 895 pupils
  • Approximately 11% receiving SEN Support and 3% holding EHCPs
  • Delivers an inclusive learning environment
  • Students consistently achieve strong outcomes, including an Attainment 8 score of 49.8, with 56% achieving Grade 5+ in English and Maths
