The Trainee Geography Teacher will:
- Support engaging Geography lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4
- Have opportunities to contribute to enrichment activities
Requirements:
- Hold a strong Geography-related degree (2:1 or above preferred)
- Demonstrate excellent subject knowledge
- Have a genuine passion for education
- Previous experience working with young people in schools, tutoring or mentoring is desirable
- Must be enthusiastic, organised, resilient, and committed to achieving outstanding outcomes for every learner
About the Academy:
- Educates around 895 pupils
- Approximately 11% receiving SEN Support and 3% holding EHCPs
- Delivers an inclusive learning environment
- Students consistently achieve strong outcomes, including an Attainment 8 score of 49.8, with 56% achieving Grade 5+ in English and Maths
