The Role

Are you interested in becoming a HGV Class 2 Driver? If so, this role is perfect for you. The company will provide training under the “Warehouse to Wheels” scheme for you to gain your Class 2 Licence.

Come and work in our Warehouse for 6 months and after passing your probation we will pay for you to complete your Class 2 Drivers Licence. Upon successful completion of this you will then become a HGV Class 2 Driver for Shoe Zone.

As a driver, you are the vital link between our Warehouse and the Stores, ensuring that the stores receive all their stock at the right time. This position entails work of a physical nature, as you will be required to move stock from the back of the lorry into the Stores.

As a HGV Class 2 Driver for Shoe Zone, you will be contracted to 42 hours a week, working over 4 days a week on a salary of £30,503.55 per annum. Whilst in the role of a Warehouse Operative, you will be contracted to 37.5 hours a week on a salary of £24,903.66 per annum.
