About Polaris

Polaris is a fast-growing accountancy practice based in Loudwater.

We work with a wide range of UK and international clients across multiple industries. The firm is built around modern systems, high standards, and a hands-on approach from directors.

We are a small team with high growth ambitions. This role offers direct exposure to real client work from day one, not just basic processing work.

The Role

This is a hands-on role in a fast-paced environment with high responsibility from an early stage.

You will be involved in core accounting work and expected to take ownership as you develop.

You Will Gain Experience Across

  • Statutory accounts preparation
  • Corporation tax
  • VAT returns, including cross-border VAT
  • Bookkeeping using Xero and VT
  • Management accounts
  • Payroll using Payroll Manager
  • Client-facing work and communication

You will also gain exposure to international clients and cross-border VAT advisory.

Requirements

  • Minimum 2 years’ experience in an accountancy practice
  • AAT Level 3 or higher, or studying ACCA or ACA
  • Able to commute daily to Loudwater (HP10)
  • Strong attention to detail and organisation
  • Clear communication skills
