Job Ref: 90767 Location: Uxbridge, Hillingdon, Middlesex Salary: £35,000 – £40,000 per annum (up to c.£45,000 for a more senior paraplanner) Employment Type: Permanent Working Pattern:

  • Initial Phase: 4 days in office, WFH Fridays
  • After settling period (c. 3–6 months): 3 days in office, 2 days WFH

About the Role

We are working with an established wealth management and financial planning firm in Middlesex, seeking a Trainee or Junior Paraplanner to join their growing advice support team.

An excellent opportunity for someone with existing paraplanning experience who wants to develop into a fully competent Paraplanner within a structured, supportive environment.

Ideal candidates will have worked in paraplanning or technical support roles and aim to progress quickly with proper training and development.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support Financial Advisers with technical research and analysis
  • Assist in preparation of suitability reports and advice documentation
  • Conduct product and fund research
  • Aid in client reviews and annual review preparation
  • Collaborate with Financial Advisers (typically 1 paraplanner to 2 advisors)
  • Liaise with internal admin/support teams (non-technical work managed separately)
  • Ensure all work is accurate, compliant, and delivered to a high standard

Requirements

Essential

  • Some existing paraplanning or technical support experience (critical for shortlisting)
  • Level 4 Diploma in financial planning (preferred)
  • OR 4–5 Relevant Units (ROs) with evidence of progression
  • Strong understanding of adVice processes and financial planning
  • Detail?focused with excellent analytical skills
  • Willingness to commute by car (office is not near a train station)
