Daily Responsibilities
Upon training, you’ll take ownership of the following tasks:
- Reading and interpreting lens and frame specifications from patients
- Operating -blocking and glazing machines to achieve accurate lens cuts
- Assembling completed frames with precision
- Applying tinting to lenses, ensuring UV protection and custom tint options
- Ordering new frames and lenses to stock requirements
- Quality-checking finished eyewear, guaranteeing flawless fit
- Maintaining laboratory hygiene and equipment, ensuring all systems run optimally
