This Trainee Latin Teacher opportunity at a high-performing Future Academies school offers a unique pathway into teaching through one of the country's leading teacher training providers. You'll gain hands-on classroom experience while working towards Qualified Teacher Status through an Ofsted Outstanding training programme.
£28,000 - £32,000 per annum | Full-time | September 2026 Start
The Role
- Support the delivery of Latin lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4
- Deliver small-group interventions and targeted academic support
- Develop your teaching practice under the guidance of experienced Latin specialists
- Inspire students through a knowledge-rich curriculum that places Latin at its heart
- Progress onto a fully funded teacher training pathway leading to QTS

Who We're Looking For
- A high-achieving graduate in Classics, Latin, Ancient History or a related subject
- Strong academic background and genuine enthusiasm for Latin
- Excellent communication skills and confidence working with young people
- Ambition to become an outstanding classroom practitioner
- Previous tutoring, mentoring or educational experience desirable but not essential
