Trainee Leakage Technician
Trainee Field Technician (Water Industry) – Bicester Area

** About the Role**
My client is recruiting for Trainee Field Technicians based in Bicester who will play a crucial role in maintaining the underground water network.
** Job Overview**
This temporary role (with potential to extend) operates on a 40-hour per week, working days basis.
The Trainee Field Technician will be trained to locate and detect leaks within the water supply network. With full training provided, this role is ideal for career starters and those transitioning into the water industry.
** Responsibilities**
- Conduct detailed surveys to identify, classify, and locate water leaks within underground networks
- Provide leak detection assistance to repair gangs during intervention works
- Support survey and project work not typically part of daily operations
- Ensure accurate completion of all paperwork, including:
- Time sheets
- Survey forms
- Leak detection details
- Additional duties as required
- Basic computer skills required for data entry and uploading onto laptops

** Requirements**
✅ Must hold a full and valid driving licence
✅ Preferred candidates:
- Graduates
- Ex-Forces personnel
- Drivers with relevant experience (multi-drop, meter readers, delivery drivers)
- Individuals with a manual/outdoor working background
⚠️ All candidates must undertake compulsory drug and alcohol testing
