Job Title: Trainee Field Technician
We are recruiting Trainee Field Technicians to join a leading water utilities company, supporting essential leak detection work across the underground water network. No previous experience is needed — just a full UK driving licence and a willingness to work outdoors.
Location: Hampshire
Working Hours: Days and Nights roles available – 40 hours per week.

Training Provided
You will gain accredited qualifications including:
- EUSR Water Hygiene Training
- Unit 2 Street Works (NRSWA)
The Role
This is a practical, field-based role working outdoors at night, supporting leak detection activities across the water network.
Your Daily Duties Will Include
- Assisting with detailed surveys to identify the type and location of water leaks
- Supporting repair teams by providing accurate leak detection information
- Carrying out project and survey work across the network
- Uploading data to a laptop and completing all required paperwork
- Driving between sites and completing manual tasks (lifting, bending, stretching)
- Following strict health & safety procedures

You will be trained to use specialist equipment to detect leakage noise and help pinpoint leak locations across the underground network.

Trainee Field Technician Requirements
- Full UK manual driving licence
