Role Overview
My client is recruiting for Trainee Field Technicians (inverness area) in a temporary-to-permanent position with a 40-hour workweek (Monday–Friday).
As part of the team, you will:
- Be trained to discover and locate water leaks in underground networks
- Contribute to field operations with competent support

Responsibilities (Main Duties)
To assist and contribute effectively to:
- Detailed surveys identifying leaks—determine type and precise underground locations
- Field repair teams by offering leak detection services
- General survey/project work (beyond daily leak detection requirements)
- Maintain full paperwork accuracy (timesheets, leak details, operation reports, etc.)
- Basic computer skills (laptop data uploads to company systems)
Training Given (Mandatory Courses)
A comprehensive programme will include:
- EUSR Water Hygiene (UK Water Industry training standard)
- Unit 2 Street Works (understanding utility access regulations)
