Trainee Legal Specialist in Prime Services
About the Role
Start your legal career in financial services!
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Trainee to join our London Legal Department, supporting our Prime Services business. This is an ideal opportunity for a law graduate to gain hands-on experience in a fast-paced, regulated financial services environment, collaborating closely with experienced legal professionals.
You’ll engage in real commercial legal work, develop practical skills, and build a strong foundation for a career in legal or financial services.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Assisting with the drafting and review of legal and commercial agreements
- Supporting lawyers with client documentation and contractual processes
- Managing legal document execution and maintaining accurate records
- Conducting legal and regulatory research across various topics
- Supporting client-focused projects and documentation updates
- Assisting with company secretarial and administrative tasks
- Collaborating with colleagues from Legal, Compliance, Risk, and Operations

Profile Required
What We’re Looking For
- A completed UK law degree (or equivalent legal qualification)
- Strong academic performance with a genuine interest in commercial and financial services law
- Exceptional attention to detail and strong organisational skills
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
- A proactive, professional and collaborative approach
- Confidence in working with stakeholders at all levels
- Prior legal work experience is an advantage, but not essential
