We’re now hiring for a Trainee Consultant to join either our London or Regional desks – both exceptionally warm markets with strong reputations, long-standing client relationships, and proven revenue streams. You’ll be stepping into a role where you can hit the ground running, learning from some of the most talented recruiters in the industry within a vibrant, high-performing team.
Your role will be to support the team nationally, working closely with multiple consultants. This creates several streams of potential revenue and commission from day one. Our commission scheme is highly rewarding, offering sizeable payments for every candidate you place.
This role offers a clear route to becoming a fully rounded Legal Recruiter. Many of the company’s top billers began in this very position. With JMC’s strong focus on mentoring and professional development, you’ll be supported every step of the way as you grow into servicing one of the most prestigious and lucrative sectors in the recruitment industry: legal.

What You’ll Be Doing
- Headhunting talented lawyers for opportunities at leading law firms
- Building strong relationships with legal professionals and decision-makers
- Advising clients on hiring strategies and market insights
- Managing your own desk with autonomy, creativity, and full leadership support
